NEW Sims 3 Content Not working

I download the hairs and several items from the "spooky set" (from that folder called Sims 3 store NEW - all the stuff from this month-ish) and once all the .package files have been pasted into my downloads section and i start my game... Everything is real slow.

The intro loading screen loads really slowly after ive pasted it all in, my game doesnt load in 1 minute like it used to. It doesnt load at all but looks like it is trying to? Just curious if there is something i did wrong. Also wanted to know if a Spooky Set. Sims 3 custom content file could be made with all the little files and extras included? Easier than downloading all the items individually then putting them in mods folder.

Dunno just wanted to point it out and hopefully get some help?

Oh! I forgot to mention that i downloaded the Gothique Library from here too and installed it the same way. Worked like a charm

This just slows everything down so for the meantime im going to play without this goodness.

BTW: If people reply to my threads or respond to a reply will i get an email about it so i know? Sorry lol

A shame though i was sure there was a supernatural pack/set available on the sims 3 store. I remember seeing a small box (other than the one talking about the new EP) talking about something available in the store. So i assume that whole folder was for sims 2 then.
