when i download mods off modthesims they often require versions 1.26 or something like that.

and according to my launcher my version is 13.062.016001
quite confused.

Hello,

Two ways actually. The easiest way is to open the launcher and have a look as shown in the image below.
If you can't for some reason, you can look inside a textfile in the base game\bin, it's called SKUversion.txt.
