Sims 3 disk authentication failure (PC)

hello.
first of all I wanted to thank you for these awesome uploads.
everything was working great till I added sims pets.
Now I cannot play the game.
When I try to play I get a disk authentication failure notice asking me to insert the disk.
easy fix if I could find the file I'm supposed to mount to actually play it
Please help?

Hello,
No need to mount anything, apply the crack from the fix and you're good to go.
You'll need game version 1.36 for this crack, so if you haven't patched your game to the latest version, you can use the manual patch or attempt to update using the launcher. If you choose to do that, you'll have to apply the entire fix according to its installation guide.

Is there an order I should install the expansions in?
It's up to date and I followed the instructions and I'm still getting this error.

Hello,
No you can install them in any order you like.
I suspect you overlooked the #crack folder though, or the crack was copied to the wrong folder.
They should go to the base game\bin.
