HELP! Im kinda new. TS3 + exp.
Ohkay, so i just downloaded the Sims 3 and Generations, Deisel stuff, and pets (based on the step by step guide thingy)(its still sitting in Utorrent) after that, what do i do? The download steps are kind of vague to me. I've heard of this WinRar thing but after i finish downloading the torrents, you say "install" but how do you get to intall it? I need VERY CLEAR steps anyone, I'm new at this! Plz plz plz help me! ('') (':newfag:')
P.S I know some of you guys "fancy jargon" but not all. I know Torrent, and I've heard of putting updates into crack folders, but that's about it.. i'm learning.

Hello,
Use winRAR to extract the files you downloaded. I'd recommend setting up a "staging area" like a "temp" folder on your desktop. Just start with The Sims 3, extract it, install it, empty your staging area and on to the next.
This video should prove very helpful before and during the installation of the base game.
The expansions are easier to install, just extract one to your staging area, install, empty and repeat with the next expansion. You only have to double-click "setup" to start installing the expansions.
Everything else you need to know can be found here, al though I like to recommend starting with the manual patch right after the base game because that takes away the need to update at all during the installation of the expansions.
If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask.

Hello,
Yes, you don't need the extracted files once the installation is complete. Just keep the RAR files in case you have to reinstall for some reason.
