Problem - service initialization failed

Anyone else gets that message?
I just installed Sims 3 with all the expansions, I followed every step carefully, I have the no-cd cracked base game from tpb and then I created .dmg files for expansions using stuffit expander. Then I installed the expansions and then the manual update fix (because update accessed through game launcher freezed during the process) and after that I installed the rest of the expansions, which I couldnt before (because it said the base game is not updated) and then I applied the ultimate fix.
I can get the game launcher, but when I try to play, a window pops up and says "service initialization failed (0x024e424f)" and the screen is all messed up.
I do not know where have I gone wrong. Does anyone please have an idea what to do? I am all fed up with following these long procedures and then getting slapped in the face by the game.

Okay, found the solution - I just manualy updated the game again and then applied the ultimate fix again.
At first try the game freezed when I tried to move in a household, but on the second I managed to play. On the third, with different city, however the game kicked me out and displayed an error message and if i want to debug it. So I guess that city doesnt work.
Hope there wont be any major problems anymore.
