The Sims 3 - Unable to apply the crack on Windows 7 64-bit. [SOLVED]

I've had the sims3 on my pc for some time, and recently updated the game through Origin. However after I did so, when trying to lauch the game, it says "You must insert The Sims 3- disk etc".
So I got here, downloaded the latest version of the sims 3 ultimate fix.
So far so good I tried to apply the crack to program files/thesims3/game/bin, but for whatever reason, it now requires you to have rights to edit the file. I tried to log in as admin, gave all right to edit to all users so I could drag & drop .dll and .exe file in there, but i couldn't. Every time it said "You don't have authorities to edit this file" or something.

So, what do I do?

Basically the same problem occurs when trying to drrag & drop, or copy paste. It seems i'm not allowed to do any chances in any file in the sims 3. Whether i'm logged in as admin or not.

Hi try this- Take Ownership

After you have downloaded it run the install .reg file and you should now notice when you right click something it says take ownership.

Go to *\The Sims 3\Game\ and right click 'bin' and go Take Ownership. Now try and paste the #crack.

If you believe you don't need take ownership anymore just run the uninstall .reg file.

Okay, problem is now solved! Thank you tj888 for providing the Take Ownership- link. I was able to move crack - files into Bin - folder, and the game is now working fine.
