launcher not working.[SOLVED]

sims 3 launcher has stopped working a problem caused the program to stop working correctly windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available than there's a box that says debug or close program i chose debug and it still closed.

We need a little more detail than that. What happened up to that point? Did the game work and then break? Did you add anything to the game?

There are several situations that can cause that error so the more you tell us the faster we can find a solution.

build and buy mode lodes real slow I don't know how to bypass launcher and if I clear cache file before I open launcher every time it opens but i have to click it more than once oh I added the new fix for the lucky palms

What about Mods, did you add any of those?
If not, what is your base game version?

if what you mean by mods are things that change the way you play game no but I do have things like for decoration like curtains ,beds , food and furniture and for some reason the down loads from your medifire that are store items down loaded as custom and have the custom icon

Please go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\ and look for a folder called "Mods". If you have one, please back it up and then remove it.
After that test your game and let us know the result, please.

I moved the mods folder to my desk top and it did not change anything game still won't open I mean launcher opens but then closes saying problem but not telling what problem is just windows is looking for solution .

OK since you removed the mods, try this.

Go to C:/Users/Your_User_Name/My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and delete the following files: scriptCache.package , compositorCache.package and CASPartCache.package. Then relaunch the game, it may take a few minutes to load as the game rebuilds those cache files.
