Sudden error about not having installed the official game.

Hey, I've been trying to fix this error I'm getting but I can't seem to get rid of it:

"It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications or get updated versions of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs. Do you want to quit?"

I've tried to look it up in your site, and I've found no solution. I already have my game up to date, 1.36 by using the ultimate fix. I've tried to reapply the ultimate fix, it didn't work, I tried to re-download it, it also didn't work. I'm not sure why it's suddenly doing this, it started doing this probably after I put in a Sims3pack that was a shirt bikini along with elf ear sliders and one of NRaas' mods, which shouldn't be such a big issue. Even if I do press continue, it doesn't seem to want to load at the main loading screen, and I can't seem to install anymore Sims3packs, it always stays at 0% with both.

OK which NRAAS mods are you using and who is the elf ear slider by? Is the shirt bikini a Sims Exchange item or from another creator's site?


Some mods conflict with each other, especially if they modify the same file(s). For more information on NRAAS' mods and what mods may conflict with them go HERE.

I believe I figured it out... it was a "slider hack" I downloaded, which was to increase the maximum sliders I could allow in the CAS, I didn't think it would give me issues starting the game. Well it's a real bummer I can't use it. Sorry for the post. Thank you for the ultimate fix again though, it's brilliant.

There are several slider hacks that will work with NRAAS' mods, check the wiki I posted in my first reply and also the Mod the Sims site.
