Starting from scratch (Sims 3) Empty Starting from scratch (Sims 3)

Post by Guest Mon 08 Nov 2010, 10:40

Sorry if i'm being a total noob and posting in the wrong area. But I have been reading through the forum and I can not find a clear guide for what order to install the expansion packs and the fixes. I have not preiously had the sims installed on this pc and I wish to install all of the expansion packs. Could someone please tell me what order I need to install the expansion packs and what fixes I need to use.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Please do it as following:

1. Install The Sims 3. DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
2. Install WA.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
3. Install HELS.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
4. Install Ambitions. DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
5. Install Fast Lane Stuff.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
6. Update the launcher to the latest version.
7. Apply these updated Cracks: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/fixes-f18/ts3-latest-crack-is-here-117-212-38-45-52-t607.htm
8. The Game should work fine now.

Hello,

After you're done with Installing The Sims 3 by Mounting the .ISO's, there's no use in keeping them Mounted, since you still need a Crack. So just unmount them after The Sims 3 and then follow the rest of my instructions above. (Apply the Cracks at the last step; read carefully!)

Ok I have just installed the base game and i am starting to install WA however I read the Installation guide and it tells me at multiple stages to apply cracks before moving on to the next step. But you stated that I should not apply any cracks, so could you please explain to me how to install WA correctly.

Hello,

Actually, the folders called "Crack" aren't real cracks. The "Crack 3" folder contains Updates which you do have to apply. Only skip the "real" cracks. (I think in the last 1-2 "Crack" -folders)
