Uninstalling and Re-installing all my expansions/base game
I downloaded and installed TS3 Diesel and shortly after had to restore my laptop to an earlier date because of some non-sims related technical difficulties. As a result, my game is no longer functioning. I'm pretty sure it's what caused it, because recently installed programs are almost always going to have to be re-installed after restoring your computer. My game (in-game, sorry, but this isn't exactly my question) will not load the buy mode/build mode/settings, and after trying to get it to load, the whole game just starts glitching like crazy.
The problem is I bought my base game, so I'm going to have to download it from g4tw, since I lost the disc.
I heard g4tw doesn't have a -working- base game for download a few months ago, but I can't remember if that was only applicable to mac. I have a PC and I'm wanting to torrent from here. Can anyone let me know for sure that this torrent works before I uninstall my entire game?

Hello,
Of course, all Games4theworld versions of The Sims 3 work just fine.
Only our base game doesn't work on a Mac. It works as it should on a PC though, don't worry.

Re: Uninstalling and Re-installing all my expansions/base game
Okay so, I got the base game installed correctly (I think?) but now I'm running into a problem when installing the next EP, World Adventures. Everything goes perfectly fine until I get to cracking the game, the 3rd crack to be exact, where I have to patch my game. When I run the first patch (Sims3_1.2.7.00002_from_1.0.631.00002) I get an error message saying: dfc-gorilla Error; Invalid file found. Any reason this would be happening?
Edit: I'm following the ultimate fix since it crossed my mind it helped the first time I had issues installing and I think I've got it working now. I was trying to install in the order of the game releases and no by the ultimate fix order.

Re: Uninstalling and Re-installing all my expansions/base game
Hello brother when installing The Sims 3 Base right after it is done install the 1 gig update for 1.36 and than install the expansions in order. Being
1. Part 01 The Sims 3
2. Part 02 The Sims 3 Diesel Stuff
3. Part 03 The Sims 3 Katy Perrys Sweet Treat
4. Part 04 The Sims 3 Showtime
5. Part 05 The Sims 3 Master Suit Stuff
6. Part 06 The Sims 3 Pets
7. Part 07 The Sims 3 Town Life Stuff
8. Part 08 The Sims 3 Generations
9. Part 09 The Sims 3 Late Night
10. Part 10 The Sims 3 High-End Loft Stuff
11. Part 11 The Sims 3 Fast Lane
12. Part 12 The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff
13. Part 13 The Sims 3 World Adventures
14. Part 14 The Sims 3 Ambitions
if the game is not updated FIRST AFTER BASE INSTALL it will not know that you are adding another expansion.
The Fix should be added to the Sims 3 Base game after all is done and yes it is 2 files only do not use the cracks for the rest of the games only the base and only in the CRACK folder of G4TW fix to the base game.
