Ice-cream machine and fryer.[SOLVED] Empty Ice-cream machine and fryer.[SOLVED]

I downloaded the Ice-cream machine and fryer from mediafire and put them in my game last night. My sims took to them almost immediately but i noticed when they were frying and tipped the food onto their plates, there was nothing on the plates - that's cute! invisible food from fryer...lol!!!!!!! And they make ice-cream but don't take anyrhing and just stand looking at it. Am I missing something or is this commonplace? Many thanks in advance.
