Wedding Presents?

Hello... hope you're all enjoying your long weekend.

This problem has actually been around for a while: has anyone been able to receive wedding gifts? I read online (here) that the problem has been around since 1.31. Has any patch or update on here purposely addressed this? My sims always want to write thank you notes but no gifts ever show.

Certainly not an urgent problem but maybe you can help. My game runs smoothly otherwise and I update manually.

The wedding gifts is a glitch that EA seems to continue to ignore, none of the current patches has fixed the issue so far.

So annoying. I have a growing list of things like this now.

I'm still so angry we don't get aliens anymore.

Don't give up on aliens yet. I have a few friends working on some mods to work with Lunar Lakes that will, hopefully, let us Sci-Fi fans play with aliens in the Sims.

As for the plethora of glitches in the Sims, its something we learn to live with and work around. EA just wants our money and keeping glitches in the game will, in their eyes anyway, make us hang on for the next patch or EP that will MAYBE fix them. But we all know they wont fix anything.

I spoke too soon. I googled it and apparently they're confirmed in Seasons. So... it took them long enough but we'll have aliens in November. Still no sign of yoga though, AM I RIGHT? Or the hamster disease haha.

LOL, there are disease mods at MTS, but I don't think anybody has done a hamster disease for Sims 3 yet.
