Can't install Supernatural [SOLVED]

Hi,

I wanted to install Supernatural but I immediately ran into trouble.

and so I first uninstalled my Sims 3 base game (The.Sims.3.Generations-RELOADED.1500) because I didn't have any expansions installed yet.

Then I installed Sims 3 again and did not put the crack into the bin directory. I also didn't install the launcher if I remember correctly.

After mounting the image of the Supernatural expansion, I wanted to install it. But I couldn't, I got the following message (bear with me, I had to translate it):

This product can only be installed after Sims 3 has been updated.
Sims 3 is now being updated. Continue?

Of course, that didn't work. So, any ideas? It's probably something obvious but for once I couldn't depend on my google fu. Please, if you could help me I'd really appreciate it.

try the superpatcher to 1.38

Install the manual patch (version 1.38) and then the #crack folder files from the ultimate fix, that should do the trick.

or, you can just install origin, then update to latest like me easy way

I first installed the manual patch. Then I was able to install Supernatural. I copied the #Crack from the ultimate fix to the bin directory. So unknowingly I did just what Admin suggested.
