Friends out of nowhere?

Lately, since I installed Supernatural, I've got this weird event happening, that is - getting friends with 50 points out of nowhere without any interactions! I'm getting more and more , currently I know 40 sims and I've met "personally" only 1/4 of them ! Where did the rest came from and why are they my friends ? o_O What should I doo ?
Is this a some kind of a magic ? A charisma feature ? xD

When your Sim is set for High Free Will they perform actions that make them friends, especially if you have them using the computer to surf the web, completing social interaction wishes, etc. Charisma levels and trait bonuses affect this too, along with any mods you may have that affect social interactions.

Your Sim making friends is not a bad thing in the Sims 3, although it can sometimes be spooky.

My sim is not making friends because of a free will , cooomee on , I wouldn't write if that would be a case . I control that sim all the time, and at least half of the new friends, I haven't even seen .
No surfing or chatting either .
The best way to describe it - my sim is sleeping in her bed and suddenly a notice pops up about getting another sim becoming her friend. Dunno, maybe they meet in the dreams xD.

A couple things that may have effected this are if you have showtime, the photobooth likes to cause some weird friendship changes. Also, if you shift-clicked the mailbox and chose either "make me know everyone" or "make new friends," my sister used the mailbox, and her sim ended up getting pregnant from a complete stranger, and started getting random friends.

I didn't use the mailbox "that" way, also had no experience with photobooth yet.
It's crazy, right now I have over 30 friends and over 50 known sims :s.
They keep just randomly pop up, few each day, and since I can't call that much sims each day, I got a constant negative moodlet because of loosing a friends xD.

Seriously, out of those 30 friends , maybe 5 were developed with my influence. And one of it was an instant friend status from a fairy house.

Oh, right.. that's another thing I guess. Cause I already have that reward =P. I guess it doesn't work ?
