Supernatural Counter/Cabinet/Island Problem FIXED.[SOLVED]

EDIT: My apologies, I have since restarted my game and the problem appears to have solved itself. I'm baffled as to what caused the problem in the first place.

A problem has appeared since I installed Supernatural concerning counters/cabinets/islands in my game. After a bit googling and searching the site, I was unable to find an answer to my problem, some advise would be appreciated.

I currently play The Sims 3 with all the expansions packs and most of the stuff packs (I don't have Diesel or Sweet Treats). Also, my computer is 2.30 GHz Quad Core, 4GB of RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4600 using Windows 7 64 bit.

The problem oocurs when I place a counter or cabinet in a corner, the corner piece disappears. The islands will only stay visible if there is one. Once I place another next to it, they both disappear. The items do not become invisible. I tested to see if the item was still there. There is nothing in the space once the corner is placed or second island piece is added.

I am aware of the fix you have here. However, since there hasn't been any problem with my game until now, I never felt cause to use it. So, at this point, I would appreciate some advise if at all possible.

I'd quickly like to add that I am a recent convert to this site. First off, it surprised me that it had remained undiscovered since I tend to read/lurk my Sims sites. But the site soon made up for lost time and now ranks as one my main trusted Sims sites.
