Sims 3 Pets - Can't find image to mount

I downloaded the game using a torrent

I've been told that when my installation asks me for disk 1 I am supposed to mount an image with DAEMON but when I try I can't find one to mount. Everyone says it's an .ISO file but using WINRAR I can only see a .ICO file that looks like the icon you click to start the launcher. I'm assuming this is probably it but can't get my head around why it is ICO and not ISO, am I supposed to convert this?

As for your problem, did you download the Games4theworld version of The Sims 3: Pets? If yes, was it the normal or the [FIXED] version?

my problem has changed now, I downloaded the fixed version (as i didnt before) and yeah it is from games4theworld. Now when I press play it just says ''no disk found'', I've tried looking at the fixes you put up but didn't see anything related to pets, but I'm more than likely doing something wrong haha

how to I install the new cracks though? I've tried and it doesn't seem to be fixing anything so I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong? I've been dragging them into the sims 3 base games bin too, but I couldn't find a folder called Game or with Bin in it so I had to make my own, maybe this is why?

What you did doesn't work.
Where did your base game come from?

Edit: That number indicates your launcher version, it's not relevant, but your base game version might be.

My base game is retail, I bought it from a store. And it's at 1.38.

And okay, why don't I have a 'Game' folder to start with? Is this because I have game saved on it? Should I delete my saved game?

Nope :/ I had to make it but as Lady EIDI sad it doesn't work so I deleted it I haven't looked online to see if anyone has the same problem yet so I might skim a few forums and see what I find. I can't think why I don't have it though
