No Sims Panel Empty No Sims Panel

Post by Guest Mon 10 Sep 2012, 04:34

Hello,

I've just downloaded and installed the supernatural fix and my game loads up and works fine. All except my family that I've been playing before the update. The panel that shows needs, jobs, relationships, etc will not show. I click the arrow and it will not pop out. Also if the sim is doing something up in the top left hand corner it usually shows what. It's all completely blank. Their main lifetime wish is gone and all of the saved wishes they wish to get are gone. They move around but I cant see anything. I have cleared my cache and still this happens. Ive checked to make sure I don't have any conflicting pkg files and I don't. But something is wrong. Also some music keeps playing but they do not have any radios or TV's on. Please help. Thank you Smile Question

Oh also after playing the game freezes and crashes.

Just because a mod shows non conflicting with each other does not mean there are no conflicts in game, especially if any of the package files are mods. Try copying the Mods folder to a safe location, deleting it from My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, and then starting the game. If everything shows up right then you have a package conflict and will have to test each mod to see which one needs updating.

If the problem persists after removing the Mods folder you can try using the save game backup. Go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saves, in there you should see 2 files with your save game name, one will have name.sims3 and the other will be samename.sims3.backup. Delete the game with the .sims3 and rename the sims3.backup to just .sims3 then launch the game.

OK, I did what you said and my game started up very different than b4. So I think what you suggested solved my issue. I just have to do what you said and go through my mods and find out what it is. It may be this job changer script i placed, but I'll figure it out. Thank you so much for your input, it is greatly appreciated Smile
