Updating to 1.38

Hello

I don't know where to turn with this problem but I couldn't find any answers also in thesims3 community. I have installed all games4theworld expansions except supernatural. I have my own original base game. When the update came I didn't start updating right away, I waited for the Ultimate fix to be suitable for the update. So when the ultimate fix came out for the new update I then clicked on the launcher OK to update but it didn't do anything. The launcher just freezed and then crashed. So then I reinstalled my base game and EA download manager. So then when I click update it starts updating and then just crashes again at one point all the time. I'll put the picture from the crashing here.



I don't have any mods installed. My base game and expansion packs are installed on /D: but somehow my first installation of base game Electronic Arts folder remained on /C:Documents and last date modifyed is 10.09.12.

Can anyone please help?

Sims 3 won't using EA Download manager, download origin. Sims 3 now uses origin

But it downloaded the patch? I think if that would be the problem, it wouldn't download the patch.

Okay, today I first tried to update again via the launcher and it gave me this error:


Then I came here, saw the reply to download the manual patch did it and it gave me new error:

Then I thought okay maybe it's because the manual patch is on C disk, I put it on D disk and even in The Sims 3 folder, still gives me the same error

Where did you get your base game from?

My base game is original. Bought it from electronics store

Hmmm... are you 100% sure it's the legal, original game and not a pirated, modified, copied disc? (They sell those in some countries)

yeah it has to be, because it has worked before with all updates and only now came the problem. And also in the disk box there were my free bonus points and I also registered myself with my KEY in EA.
