SuperNatural, Gets to load screen and just stops..

okay, I reviewed hot to apply the ultimate fix video. I put each file and replaced it like I was told. here is where it gets weird... when I apply the one from the supernatural & katy sweet treat ect. and try to load launcher it only shows the expansion packs for everything until showtime, then it's like greyed or something, I downloaded every single pack.. then when I apply the crack, the supernatural screen loads up but the bar never moves.... I been dealing with this since wednesday, I don't understand where I went wrong, my computer is fine, my sims game is up to date 1.38 or something like that.. My base game is retail verison tho... also why do we have to replace the same things twice? someone help me plz.. getting a headache..

Anyhow, is your base game downloaded via Origin or Steam? Or just a retail DVD?

okay, the base game is retail store, and what I mean by twice is that the stuff that's in the crack folder is the same stuff in the folder labeled Supernatural...

they both replace the TS3W.. Also I left the game for 5 hrs and it
doesn't load... In processes it only goes up to 4.k it's usually in the
100.K's

I am using the awesome mod... when I pulled it out, the game kept
crashing, saying I'm using a modification... then I pulled the whole
Mod's folder out and its loading up.... is there a program that scans
the .package files for duplicates or something that can help me figure
out thats causing this problem.

Yeah, I noticed when I did the installation of the Supernatural+other Expansion crack, when I checked for the update the latest three weren't lighted up, but after I applied the crack they lighted up.

Make a backup of the Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 folder, by moving it to the desktop, then try to play. Just to make sure it's not a conflict of mods/cc.

That's what I said, if you read that page, you wouldn't have done anything with the "Supernatural" folder included with the Fix.

Try backing up and completely removing the following folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\
Do you still get the "Unofficial game modification" error afterwards?
