Downloading The Sims 3 Expansions & StuffPacks Question?

I have store-bought hard copies of The Sims 3 base game, TS3 Late Night & TS3 Supernatural. I'm planning to download the rest of the expansions & stuff packs from your website and was wondering if I absolutely needed to install the Store Update files? The games I own are fully registered & updated so my impression would be that it isn't necessary to get them, but I'm not fluent in torrenting game files and the like so I would love any input on this.

Also, bonus question that's bugging me, I know you aren't supposed to download the EA Download Manager/Origin when torrenting the game files, but I already have it downloaded for my preexisting games. Do I need to remove this program before beginning to download the torrents, or will it be fine to leave as-is?

I already have. I just wondered if those files were crucial to the download, and it doesn't mention them specifically there. I'd rather be safe than assume and make an error.

Well, I've pretty much downloaded, installed, cracked & patched
everything up and I'm about to the point where I can go ahead and try
out my game now. I just have one last question and I appreciate any
help. It's just a small one, but do I need to replace the files in the
Sims 3 Late Night with the crack files in the ultimate fix, given that
Late Night was a bought copy I already had? Thanks.

I really appreciate all the help this forum/games4theworld in general gives. I always really hated how people who upload torrents just leave everyone to fend for themselves when they have a problem. I'm glad I found a community of people who are willing to help everyone who needs it, even if the questions are a little dumb. lol
