1.What happens to the gameplay of The Sims games if I uninstall a Stuff Expansion? Can I still play my saved files?

2. EADM doesn't connect to The Sims 3, and it still woudn't after I restarted the computer. I have a Windows 7.

I uninstalled all the games, restarted the computer and reinstalled and now EADM works.
