Quick question; Can I install the sims 2 base game, and two expansions from the list now and patch and crack them, and add more expansions later?

or will this stop the game from working?

If it all works fine afterwards and you decide you want to add more expansions, just install those new expansions, but DO NOT use any more "# Crack" folders. If the game works afterwards, don't fix what isn't broken.
