Let me make sure this has enough information...ok...
I have the original THE SIMS 3 (from the store) installed up to date 1.39

I have the original THE SIMS 3 LATE NIGHT ( from the store) installed

I have the torrented version of THE SIMS 3 SUPERNATURAL ...

Now When I had downloaded the sims 3 supernatural I did everything right but it would not start it kept giving me a disc authoration error... i unistalled and re installed many many times and redid everything step by step just to find out it was not working because i was trying to open it using the icon on my desktop How do I open. [CLOSED] Iconofsupernatural

But I was suppose to open it by going to my THE SIMS 3 BASE GAME bin folder and clicking on TS3W to open it as shown here>> How do I open. [CLOSED] Tsw

SO thats the only way I can open my THE SIMS 3 SUPERNATURAL.. now my question is.. IF I download any of the following Diesel Stuff & Katy Perry Sweet Treats & Showtime & Master Suite Stuff & Pets & Town Life Stuff & Generations: THEN how will i open THE SIMS 3 SUPERNATURAL? Because They all require me to replace the tsl host and ts3w files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin as shown here >> How do I open. [CLOSED] Info

Can someone please give me an answer??

You can download any or all of the Expansions and stuff packs, install them as directed but skip the crack directories within the downloads themselves as they are obsolete and then re-apply the fix following the directions HERE . When you launch the game it will be the Supernatural startup as Supernatural is the latest EP.

Hello,

You don't have to install any other ep's or sp's. But you can use a desktop shortcut. There are 2 ways:
-Go to the bin where the TS3W.exe is en right-click it, from the dropdown menu, select "create shortcut".
Now drag the "Shortcut to TS3W.exe" to your desktop, then you can rename it if you want, and use it to start the game.
-Another alternative is to rightclick the supernatural icon on your desktop, and go to "properties". If you go to the "shortcut" tab opn top, you'll see the target location of this shortcut. You can also change that to the location of the TS3W.exe if you want the Supernatural icon on your desktop.

if you want to start from the launcher, use "Sims3launcherW.exe" in stead. Though I should point out that there's no advantage to starting the game from the launcher.
