Invalid file error

When I tried updating sims 3 supernatural to 1.39 it said "error: invalid file. I checked mod the sims and I searched for the file that had the error and it was error: 0031 - TSW file. I don't know what to do. Help!

Also, I tried using the fix and it didn't work. I sent the stuff in the supernaturals folder and replaced the tsw file and the tsl host file, and tried updating it, and it still gave an error:invalid file. i believe it's the tsw file that is causing the problem. i followed all steps correctly, what should i do...

I had the same problem when I was trying to update with the new fix and with the launcher; If you download the manual patch, found in the latest fix's instructions pdf file; It might work, It worked for me!
