Can't open Showtime.[SOLVED]

Alright so I downloaded the sims 3 showtime from TPB, since I can't post external links I'll give you the name of the torrent: The Sims 3: Showtime [FULL] * Games4theworld *
It downloaded quickly and just fine but then when I opened it...



I just have noooo idea what to do with it! As you can see I have two other torrents at the top of my page, when I opened them they came up as folders and everything needed was inside these folders. The thing is, this new torrent I downloaded came up as this ''file'', I don't even know what type of file! I tried opening it with virtual clone drive, poweriso, I tried to unzip it but it simply doesn't do anything at all!
Is it broken?

If there's a program to download that will mount it, please tell me I will download it

PS: This is the second showtime torrent I downloaded. The first was the folder you see at the top: The_Sims_3_Showtime_FLT
This one I installed correctly but when I started the sims, it said that EA was not able to verify it was a correct version or something like that? So if you have an answer for this one, I guess it would be easier because atleast I can install this one!

I also don't have much internet per month lately because..we're short on money =\ And I have to be careful, so no I will not be able to download a new torrent. I've already downloaded 2 torrents this week, so I can't download torrents anymore untill the end of october.

Hello,

All our downloads are in .rar format. Please right-click on the "File" and choose "Open with...". Now look for and select "WinRAR" from the list.
After that read the included "# Installation Guide.txt" on how to install the game.

Thank you for your answer! I finally installed showtime and played for about an hour before the game closed itself.


Edit: I re-opened the game to see if it was a one-time bug and now I can't even get past the loading screen.

I go to my control panel and I don't see anything about my video card.
There's
another option about playing sims in windowed mode , lowering the
game's resolution, etc...but I can't. The sims crashes before I even get
to go to options. So this is pretty much my last option.

Well I finally managed to get into the game. I went to shopping mode
and it froze. It doesn't show me the objects that I can buy, so I try to

Hum...I can't seem to download gamebooster. Either it gives me a link to subscribe to something and simply doesn't give me the download, either it crashes my internet.

Yep I get that. Right now I'm trying the ultimate fix, don't know if it can help..
Since I can't update my game (and I started wondering if this could be the problem?), I started downloading the manual patch that the installation guide recommended. Been downloading for hours and hours now and internet randomly crashed, so I have to re-do it.

Alright, it took me a while to do it because I was gone all weekend. yesterday I managed to play for about an hour and there was no crashing and I bought go in buy mode Yay!
The only problem now is that all my locations lost their names and are set as ''no visitors allowed''. I deleted some of them to put the original locations back but I can't ''buy'' most of the locations to replace them so it's pretty annoying because I don't know their names or what they are supposed to be =\

I'll try to start my game over though, maybe it's because it's an old game file?
