Sims 3 update fail.[SOLVED]

Hey. So, I've got everything in the right place, after following the newest fix and that, and it says, at about 92% of the update, that theres an Invalid File. Doesn't tell me where, just says it, which is soooo useful.

So I can't do anything.

I have the Base game of Sims 3, and Town Life stuff. I only want and pretty sure I only need those two.

Pretty bored of uninstalling and reinstalling this stuff and I just wanna play it. Sims 3 update fail.[SOLVED] 1469785098

I installed sims 3. Put the crack for it in the Bin file.

Then I installed towns life, let it update, finished the install, put the crack in the bin file, and replaced the old cracks as it tells me to.

I run the patcher, press refresh, press update, YOU'RE MISSING A FILE.

Help? silent

Hello,
The problem is that you're cracking the game before updating it and it doesn't work that way.
The latest fix should solve your problem.

I already have that fix and I've already used the fix..

It's -still- not working.

I've only put the basegame crack and the townlife crack in, not the #Crack one.

Hello,
Please clarify.
In your first post, you say that you replaced the crack in the bin file after which you run the updater and it says you're missing a file.
In your second post, you say that you've used the base game and town life stuff files, but not the one in the #crack folder, which is, incidentally, the only crack in the fix.
All of the other files in the fix are EA original files that replace the cracks before you can update, after updating, you have to copy the crack from the #crack folder to the bin.
Please apply the fix again, first use the files from the Town life stuff and base game folders and place them in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin, then try to update your game, and after the update is complete, place the file from the #crack folder in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. If the launcher is giving you grief, follow directions in this post to manually update your game.
