Doubt on installation pls help. [SOLVED]

I have read many times the installation post but i still have a question:
After i installed successfully the base game(not copied the crack) i start installing world adventures expansion... it say that i have to upgrade the sims 3 to install it so what to do? Let ts3.exe download last patch or patch it manually or what else?

If you're in the installer for World Adventures and it says it needs to update, go ahead and let it update. Just don't try and play or anything until you install all the games you want, and apply the ultimate fix.

I've followed rob0tz hint and now it works (finally).. now i don't know if install store update or not because i'm feared about something goes wrong and i have to uninstall all another time(like the 5th).
