No Game Disk Found! Empty No Game Disk Found!

Post by Guest Tue 23 Oct 2012, 04:40

I have been reading through other peoples questions and answers but I can't find the answer to my problem.

I bought and downloaded the sims 3 base game and I want to download the Sims 3 Pets. I updated my base game and installed the pets but when I want to play the game it says "No Game Disk Found".
I have read that you need to put two files from the # Crack folder into the Game>Bin folder but I don't have that folder (Game>Bin) on my Sims 3.
So I'm not sure what to do.

Please Help!!

Bought the base game from where? Store, Origin, or Steam?

The Crack with the pets is outdate use the latest ultimate fix, might need to use the manual patch also.

Links to both are in this topic. https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

Thank you for the quick reply, I'll try that and let you know if it works.

//EDIT

Oh I bought the game from the store

//EDIT

Step 4 says:
"Open the "# Crack" folder in the Fix and drag &
drop the .exe and .dll file in there to: C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims
3\Game\Bin and choose "Replace" on the pop-up that appears, telling you
the files already exist in that folder."

From the link you gave me (https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly)

But I don't have the game>bin folder to put the .exe and .dll file into.

It's recommended to edit your post rather then double post.

I don't have like any Mac knowledge, so I don't know what more I can say to try to help.

I found the folder I was looking for!

If you're using a Mac, Browse to the following location on your computer:
Macintosh HD\Applications\The Sims 3\The Sims3.app (you need to right click and choose "Show Contents"!)\Contents\Resources\transgaming\c_drive\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin

Hello,

Glad to hear you found it!
What about the game itself, is your problem solved now?

It loads but crashes after a minute of playing it. I tried downloading lots of patches and updated my software but it still doesn't work.
I think it is my graphics card (Intel HD Graphics 3000) that isn't compatible with the game.
I read that Sims Pets has had this problem with so many other mac users.
Any suggestions on what I should do now?

Hello,

Have you read this one: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t2488-the-sims-3-pets-graphical-issues ?

If yours is on the list, it will most likely not work. (Or you should remove Pets)
