Sims 3 Ambitions Error

Hi there,
I downloaded this game yesterday and I've been installing it onto my computer today but when I tried to play the game an error came up saying
"It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either unistal these modifications or get updated versions of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs."
Is there anything I can do about this?

Also, when I was installing The Sims 3 Ambitions, the installation wizard was written in Russian. Will the game also be in Russian and is there any way I can change it to English?

The patch which was written in Russian, is normal and it doesn't affect your game in any way.
Then the error; do you have any modifications (mods) added to the game? If not, please apply this fix and see if it fixes anything: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-latest-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems

I did but I deleted them before I tried to install the Sims 3 Ambitions game because the game was taking a long time to load. Also I have downloaded some items from The Sims 3 store before... I don't know if those count as mods (:

Well, that's strange. You can do two things:

- Just ignore the pop-up and enjoy playing the actual game itself. (That's what I recommend)
- Delete the CC, restart your PC and see if the error is gone now. You can always reinstall them again after that and see if the error still pop-ups.
