Sims 3 PC Crash
Hello! Sorry if wrong place.
Right so, basically, its happened so many times so I can't pinpoint an expansion or game update as its gone through a lot.
The issue is during game play, at any given point, usually not after a long time of game play, the whole PC turns itself off.
Until I got a Laptop Raised stand, I thought it was due to overheating. But then after this, it doesn't happen.
Also, before this stand, the laptop would just turn off even not in game. Also, now that doesn't happen, just Sims 3.
Acer Aspire 5733
5 GB Ram
2.4 GHZ
i3 Intel Core
Windows 7
64 bit

Re: Sims 3 PC Crash
I had the same thing once at my laptot. When it crush down , do you have any error sms, or blue screen? I ask cuz it looks like my problem, but i had blue screen errors also... if you have something like that then is probable your ram... And then you have to contact the company your bought it. Can you link also your Graphic card?

Re: Sims 3 PC Crash
No I don't get blue screen. Just shut down. Not even a log off or
anything.
Yeah that doesn't work as it isn't really my problem. I tried.
Well I have no idea how to link my Graphics. Something like Intel HD.
Seriously, 5GB is not enough? You serious? My old pc ran Sims 3 just fine with 1GB.
anything.

Hello,
Try step 6: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t4692-game-lag-possible-fixes
Even if you think your PC should still be able to run the game!

Right, how does GameBooster work? I mean Sims 3 isn't on the list. Late Night is but then it doesn't work...when I add TS3.exe or TS3W.exe it won't boost.

Re: Sims 3 PC Crash
Probably a Virus or you need a computer cleaner software and the worst case scenario hardware problem
cause your system are good enough to run this
to check the information of your video card just simply press Window Key + R type dxdiag
some stupid speech will pop up choose yes or no either way same result
Click on the Display Tab where you can see the information of your video card

Have you added the launcher's also? Sims3LauncherW.exe for example.
You can also manually run Gamebooster, I have 3.5 and the one page has Start Boost, which then I would start my game, and once I'm done, just click on Restore.
Gamebooster only helps if your system is mainly lacking the RAM for what you are doing, so if your under like 3 GB, and 32-bit so you only get like 2.5/2.7 usable, and OS/programs are taking up 1GB before you start The Sims 3, so your under 2 GB of RAM available for The Sims 3, it will close out some of the unneeded processes that do take a bit of RAM to run. ( I think at least, not really sure if it does anything more then with just RAM.)

How to use Game Booster 3.5 Link
Sad to say but game booster won't help you that much cause looking at your memory ram, you won't feel any much different cause your ram is damn high already
Try to use Computer Cleaner (SOFTWARE) or Defragment (SOFTWARE)
Search it on the internet and what's the use of it also where to download it
Whisper me if you want to use some of the software I used I'll give you a FULL LICENSE SOFTWARE.
