Re: Steelseries Sims 4 mouse.
So no ones posted on here in a while, but I was wondering, if anyone knows if the Steelseries Sims 4 mouse (with the glowing plumbob) would work with the cracked game? Like for the plumbob to glow matching their emotions? I know it's off topic kinda but I don't know how to open my own thread thing

Steelseries Sims 4 mouse.
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. The core game is virtually the same, it's just cracked to work without Origin or disks. Your best bet is to just give it a try and see what happens.. Worst thing that happens is you may have to re-install, best: it works like a charm.Amii3e wrote:So no ones posted on here in a while, but I was wondering, if anyone knows if the Steelseries Sims 4 mouse (with the glowing plumbob) would work with the cracked game? Hello,
The only difference indeed between a cracked TS4 and a legit TS4 is the fact that you don't need Origin to run the cracked game. If the mouse reacts to emotions, it is unlikely to be related to Origin, therefore chances are good it works. But then again, the only way to know for sure is to test.

Re: Steelseries Sims 4 mouse.
I have the mouse, it works perfectly.
Also, it's a really good quality mouse compared to it's price I love it.
And, don't forget to download and install steelseries engine software from their website, so you can customize the buttons. I personally use the side button for pageup-pagedown keys, so upstairs-downstairs.

Re: Steelseries Sims 4 mouse.
I wonder if that mouse only works with the sims 4 or also with older sims games.
Seems like a rather simple mouse compared to their other mices, such as the rival and sensei series.

Re: Steelseries Sims 4 mouse.
the mouse works perfectly fine. You can change the colour of the plumbob on it to glow whatever colour you want when you're not playing sims, its pretty cool tbh. When i play with a game save with a big family and a big house i'll use the side buttons for page up/down but when my sims are in a small apartment i would change the side buttons to home/end for the walls..
i don't think it works with TS3 or other sims games because they don't have that colour thing in the bottom left corner, in the other games its always blue (i dont think what i'm saying makes sense but i can see it in my head, i just cant explain it ahh) so the plumbob lighting up and matching their moods probably wont work on other sims games.. idk i haven't tried it aha.

Re: Steelseries Sims 4 mouse.
I've looked on that colour thing, as you describe it, and that's an interactive field with the latest news, exlusive items, tips and tricks and other kind of things. Sortkind of rss feed from the offcial site. Next to that the sims you see in the background will have thoughts popping up above them.
Steelseries comes with the following description:
If they mean those states like angry or concentrated for example, then no, previous sims games won't have it. Emotional states is something that the sims 4 only has.
Steelseries themself don't have it in their shop anymore. But i see that the german amazon store has some.
