Sims 3 mouse problems [SOLVED]
Okay so this has to be the dumbest question EVER, but it's been really bothering me..
So the scrolly wheel thingy on my mouse doesnt work in the sims anymore, and i cant turn the screen anymore in live mode using it. It's so annoying and hard to play with! anyone know how to fix this? Haha, (by the way it does work out of the game).

Do you play in windowed mode? Or have other windows open behind the game? I've had this happen while doing either of those.

Hello,
Oh, that's odd. It recently started, the problem?
If yes, did you install anything that could cause this? (New mouse drivers etc)

Hello,
Try looking into the game settings. If you could find anything, try resetting the game settings to default.

Hello,
Did they bother to tell you what drivers? Today's keyboard and mouse don't need drivers. (As they are automatically found by Windows)

Re: Sims 3 mouse problems [SOLVED]
Hello,
Besides, this problem started ocurring out of nowhere, I can hardly imagine "mouse drivers" fixing it.
Here's thinking out loud: What if there's some dust or dirt accumulated around the mousewheel, or the mouse needs to be replaced. My scrollwheel started to act up during games first, during normal use of windows later. Do you have any other games you can test it with?

Re: Sims 3 mouse problems [SOLVED]
I opened another EA help request and they told me the person who told me about the drivers was wrong, instead they told me to go to:
Click on the Task Manager button to launch the Windows Task Manager.
Follow these steps to close unnecessary programs:
Click the Applications tab to view the list of active programs.
Click on any program listed in this window and click the End Task button.
Repeat the previous instructions until all programs have been closed.
Follow these steps to close unnecessary processes:
Click the Processes tab to view the list of active processes.
Click the User Name column header to organize the processes by login.
Click on any program listed next to your Windows login, other than EXPLORER.EXE and TASKMGR.EXE, then select the End Process button
Surprisingly, it worked!
//EDIT
Also, one last question, what is the name of that program that detects mod conflictions, and how do you use it ?? O;
