Sims 3 Launcher problems Empty Sims 3 Launcher problems

So I installed Sim 3 for the first time on my new computer. I followed the new instructions and the updated fix. (Though I had a problem with World Adventures and had to use the #Crack folder patches before it would install). I finished, applied the store updates, and now my Sims 3 Launcher isn't working. I'm getting the "Sims 3 Launcher has stopped working" message. I suppose I could start the game without the launcher, but I'd really like to use CC. Any ideas?

You could look at a few alternatives to using the launcher.
