I have A dell laptop With Vista (service pack 1)

3 days ago I installed sims 3 & sims 3 pets (i have the sims 3 plus pets)
Everything installed great I played it for several days.
My sister wanted to Play so I got on Helped her create a family & a house & then watched her play.
When she got off later on i got on to play clicked on change active house hold then Choose household
& clicked on my household It started loading then frooze zoomed out on the whole town & i couldnt click on anything
so i had to Alt+Ctrl+Delete & end task I restarted the computer & tried again Same thing so i
Restarted everything got back on & went to my sisters game & it let me play it perfectally fine but not mine.
I decided to uninstall everything I did some searching & saw where it uninstalls the games but not all the saved stuff under documens
so i just Wiped put my computer & started over & then went to reinstall The Sims 3 & It gets so far & gets stuck on
File D:\Elecotronic Arts\The Sims 3\Caches\Sunset Valley.objectCache
& says data error (cyclic redundantancy check) "rerty or Cancel" Tried clicking both rerty loads a little then stops & keeps popping it up & cancle just exits the whole setup

Hello,
When you extracted the files you downloaded, did you use winRAR?

Re: Problems With Sims 3
Not Sure What you mean?
The Very First time I installed the game & clicked where it said game Updates & It showed downloads on the lancher & i Clicked Install Downloads & they Installed Then I played the game for 3 days then it messed up. I then Uninstalled Wiped out my computer Reformatted It then tried to reinstall sims 3 & it kept bringing up
File D:\Elecotronic Arts\The Sims 3\Caches\Sunset Valley.objectCache
& says data error (cyclic redundantancy check) "rerty or Cancel"
//EDIT
& I Used The Orgian Installer thing For updates
//EDIT
When I first installed i didnt know about this site to Read How to Properly install the both games Thats probably Why it messed up. So i need to know how to get it to quit doing what it is doing so i can Properly Reinstall both games.
Mod edit: Please edit your post rather than replying to it if you didn't get any other replies yet, thank you.

Hello,
Do you still have the RAR files you originally downloaded? If you do, re-extract them with winRAR. Then try installing again.

Hello,
I see.
There is a possibility that the files you're trying to use have become corrupted, in which case you'll have to redownload them I'm afraid.
But lets wait to see what Admin has to say about this.

Re: Problems With Sims 3
Hello,
Please do as following at this point:
1. Completely remove The Sims 3 and all expansions, using Your Uninstaller! Pro, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org .
2. Restart your PC.
3. Re-download all the games you want from www.games4theworld.org .
4. Now reinstall following these instructions: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
5. Start the game and let us know the result. Good luck!
Ps. This is how you should open (Games4theworld) .rar files:
Open the .rar file you downloaded using only WinRar, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org . (If you use any other software than WinRar, like WinZip or 7-zip, the files will get messed up!)
When you've opened the file using WinRar, select áll the files in it and drag & drop them to a folder on your Desktop. When the extraction is done, close the .rar file and open the folder on your Desktop.
Now, start by reading the included "# Installation Guide.txt" and you should be able to get the game to work yourself. Good luck!
