sims 3 supernatural faries wings are missing!

ok i installed some cc and one of them were sliders i got from mod the sims and im not sure if its the sliders but i cant see the faries wings 
is this fixable? i read online that you might want to clear out your cache files but i dont know how to do that? if anyone knows how can they tell me the steps or if there might be something else i need to do? thanks

It's recommend to Edit your post rather then double post.
Have you removed the custom content?
Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods, move that folder to your desktop will be enough.
Let us know the results.
