The sims 3 has stopped working (I'm going crazy here)

Ok, so normally I have no issues when playing my game, but now I've been getting this "The sims 3 has stopped working" error and it's driving me nuts! I have no mods, though I do have a lot of store items. The thing is, since I've installed Seasons, my game worked fine. I've been playing for the last few days, and I did get the error ocassionaly but it mas manageable. Today, I get the error like every 10-15 min. And I haven't done anything differently, nor added anything or changed absolutely nothing. I've been browsing around and I've heard it might have to do with seasons or with the latest EA patch, the 1.4something one. Is there anything I can do to make playing bearable? My computer specs are good, I use advanced systemcare to keep it clean, and I play using an fpslimiter (Ive tried playing without this and I still get the same issue), and my computer doesn't overheat or anything. I'm getting desperate! Help?

I too am having this issue and iv also tried everyhing, remving custom content, reinstalling sims, putting exe files on DEP.. and even running Delphys dashboard, gamebooster.. i dnt know wat to do anymore. this only began happening after i installed seasons and supernatural. and i really dnt want to play without them as iv been waiting for their release. whether or not i save the game sometimes crashes on its own. Sometimes after about 5 mins and other times after 30 mins..

It's strange that it started happening out of the blue. Did you change anything on your computer, like updating a driver or anything?
Also, I'd try playing without the cc, because even though I doubt that's the cause, it may help keep the game from crashing a little longer.
