HEY GUYS IM REALLY NEW HERE SO I NEED SOME HELP ...AM I SUPPOSED TO DOWNLOAD THE ORIGIN SETUP...
CUZ I DOWNLOADED THE TORRENT ON PIRATEBAY AND ALL THE COMMENTS THERE SAY !!NOT!! TO DOWNLOAD IT...BUT IN THE ULTIMATE FIX VIDEO ON YOUTUBE (POSTED BY G4TW OF COURSE) IT SAYS TO DOWNLOAD THE STUPID THING!!!
I AM SO CONFUSED RIGHT NOW PLEASE HELP ME OUT...
OH AND JUST IN CASE I HAVE ALL THE PATCHES UPTO 1.39 TO PATCH THE GAME MANUALLY...
BUT I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND THE "ORIGIN" THING'S INVOLVEMENT ..
ALSO t2sink IM SORRY TO DISAPPOINT BUT I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND YOUR EXPLANATION COMPLETELY

The Origin/EA Downloads program doesn't serve any other purpose then download patches, and after you crack your game, you can't use Origin to download the update patches, so it mainly wasteful to install it. You don't need Origin to install the Manual Patch.

I failed several Origin updates, and it fails it after the fact you temporary download it, so if you do fail the install, you have to re-download, so recommend the Manual Patch.

THANKS A LOT t2sink I WAS JUST GONNA DOWNLOAD THE MANAGER AS I AM RE-INSTALLING THE SIMS 3...AND PREPARING FOR SEASONS..
I GOT ALL THE MANUAL PATCHES UP TO 1.39..gOT REALLY CONFUSED THANKS ANY WAYS... The Sims 3 plumbob Awesome Emote Very Happy What he said.
