If you couldn't wait for G4TW and are trying the KAT, L.E. Sims 3 Seasons.

Here are the directions I used, and it works just fine, in fact I haven't been crashing at all since I installed this Seasons.

Im not an expert but this is how I got it to work :
1. Unzip/rar all the parts

2. download the Ultimate game fix by Games4theworld.org

3. Unzip/rar the Ultimate fix and open the pdf file. Detailed instructions are given so I wont repeat that here. Instead of 'patching' as mentioned in the pdf file you will be installing The sims 3 Seasons.

4. So now you install the Sims 3 Seasons by using the Sims3E08Setup. This can be found in the _Installer folder that youve unzipped in step 1. Just use this serial : 3Q9Z-J8UM-EMME-6XAA-VK83

5. When the installation is finished, continue with the pdf file from the ultimate fix untill youve done all the steps.The last one is very important as it is the crack!

6. Go to program Files and check your Sims 3 seasons folder. If the 'Thumbnails' and 'Game' or 'Gamedata' are missing, copy them from the Sims 3 Seasons zip file. Go to you game directory (Seasons) and open the Game folder and then the Bin folder. Check if both sims3launcher as TS3EP08 are .exe files. if not change it to .exe.

7. If you click the .exe now to start playing it will give you an error that the serial code has been used too often already. Anonymous had an excellent way of bypassing that by doing the folowing : Go to program Files and find the Sims 3 seasons folder again. Go to 'Game' then 'Bin' and click on the 'Default.ini' file. Scroll down a bit till you see : [Version] Change the 'Game version' to 16.0.136.019002.

8. PLAY! Have fun! reply


ALSO.. If you try and click the Seasons icon to start up the game and it does not work, click your old Supernatural icon, and it'll work just fine.

Violent-- Is there a way to host Seasons onto like a download site which would not be crippled by my Uni-Net? (Torrents won't download)

I'm sure there is.. Only I'm not the uploader or anything like that, so I don't know too much about that stuff.
