Mass Effect 2 in-game Problem. [SOLVED]

I'm not sure if it's this version or the game itself-

I recently downloaded GameWorld's ME2 torrent, and installed it. At main menu it takes 1-5 minutes for the game to recognize my keys (can't do anything) and in game, I can't use hacking right (in Code selection minigame, I cannot select anything.)

Anyone know a fix? I've already restarted my PC and reinstalled once. I've uninstalled again and will reinstall tomorrow morning.

(Or if anyone just knows a hack or something that lets you auto win the code sequence selection minigames / hacking minigames in general, I could use that - I just want a way to play the main game.)

Edit: For anyone having this problem, get the 1.02 patch and a proper crack. Cheers!

I remember I played the game a long time ago, I know what you mean about the codes. It's really not hard, if you understand it. Just do some researching on Google, since I honestly forgot how the "minigame" works.
It's not hard though and it has nothing to do with the download nor with the game.

It's not the minigame - I can correctly identify the code box, it's just that no matter what key I press (even my use / select key) it won't select. At all. :/ I can only move my selection around.

I'll try reinstalling tomorrow and dling a patch, to see if it works.

Ok, good. Don't forget to also download and apply a new crack for thát version of the game which you patched to.

Alright, it works now. For everyone having this problem, get the 1.02 patch and find a crack for it!
