Update from 1.38 to 1.42 possible? [SOLVED]

Hello, i didn't update to 1.39 because many people had problems and i think it's not worth having 1gb of space wasted because it does like nothing. But now i definitely wanna update to 1.42 (once we get the new fix). So will i be able to update directly, or do i have to update to 1.39 first?

If you use the manual update, which we highly recommend, you can update directly to the 1.42 patch with no problem.
