New Patch did not work?

ok i recently posted about how my launcher wouldnt open but i got it to work but now i needed to download the new patch again that came up to update the game so i just updated and now it has a error and it says "the wizard was interrupted before the sims 3 could be completely patched and to please run the patch again." im confused what it means by the wizard was interrupted? i didnt do anything else but play with the internet so im not sure why it is not working??

im trying the 3rd time now and its the same message every time? it will download for a hour then the sims 3 will come up and load there and then that same error will come up?

ok not just that but i tried playing my game without the latest patch
and i tried saving my game and it says an unexpected error while trying
to save and to read code 16 in the read me file?

Are you using the manual patch or trying to patch it with the launcher?

If you are trying to update the game through the launcher then you really need to use the manual update, which we always recommend by the way . You can find it HERE .

As for the Error 16, that sometimes happens. Usually you can select Save again and it will work, but if it doesn't you can use Save As and save it under a different name. I usually append a number after the default name to tell me that its a Save As file instead of the original (i.e. Mortok Saga becomes Mortok Saga 2)

ok after installing the new patch i didnt play the game i just opened it today and now i have a error saying i need to insert the sims 3 supernatural cd before i can start playing??

i re applyed the crack in the fix to the base game to see if that would would and it did not have the error anymore about a missing cd but it wont do anything i press play and nothing happens the launcher just goes away but the game doesnt come up

edit: i just read that i need to reapply the new fix so now im going to try that and ill let you know if it fixes my game hope so!
