Manual Patch doesn't find Sims 3. [SOLVED]

I don't know if anyone else has had this same problem and posted it, if so I'm sorry.
I've tried to update with the Ultimate fix but it would freeze my launcher whenever I told it to install the new update.
I downloaded the Manual Patch, double click it to run but it tells me "No version of Sims 3 is installed"

My sims 3 folder is under C:/ProgramFiles/TheSims3UltimateEdition
I thought that might be the problem so i copied the folder into
C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/EletronicArts
but I would get the same problem

I have Sims 3, Ambitions, Diesel Stuff, Fast Lane, Generations, High-End, Katy Perry, Late Night, Master Suite, Outdoor living, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Town Life, World Adventures installed
Though my launcher says I don't have Katy Perry, Diesel Stuff, and Supernatural installed
perhaps that's part of the problem?

Ultimate Edition? So you have a modified installer? That doesn't even know where to install 32 bit applications.


Try to run the manual patch as Admin, Right-click, run as Admin, even if you are the Admin on your computer.

If that doesn't work, you need to uninstall it completely, using like Your Uninstaller Pro from G4TW.

Then download all unmodified versions such as the G4TW ones, and then install them.

Okay, after using Uninstaller Pro and installing the unmodified versions that G4TW provides, I install the manual patch and use the latest crack provided in the Ultimate Fix.
( Just on the base game, not using any expansion pack cracks)
I get an error when trying to launch the game.
" There was an error with the setup. Please look at log for more details."
(fyi I have no idea where the log is.)
Trying to open TS3, to bypass the launcher, tells me,
"Unable to start game Service Installation Failed (0x0175dcbb)"
