Mass Effect 1 Won't Launch. [SOLVED]

Hi, I just downloaded your Mass Effect 1 torrent on piratebay and I can't get it to run. The installation went fine and I did the galaxy map fix. It gave me the "General Protection Fault" error when I tried to run the game (from binaries).

So then I patched to 1.02 and tried the crack you linked to (http://www.antistarforce.com/_ld/60/6094_MassEffectv1.02.7z) but then when I try to run the game (either from binaries or through the launcher), it simply crashes("Mass Effect has stopped working").

Please install the v1.02 patch here: http://files.bioware.com/masseffect/updates/MassEffect_EFIGS_1.01a.exe (And patch your game to v1.02)
When that is done, download the new, updated NoCD crack for v1.02 here: http://www.antistarforce.com/_ld/60/6094_MassEffectv1.02.7z
Copy that NoCD crack to: C:\Program Files\Mass Effect\Binaries and REPLACE it by the existing one. The game should work fine now.

The tech guy on teamviewer was very accommodating but s/he couldn't figure out how to fix it either. Suggested that I should look for an updated crack.

I'm pretty sure mine is not an isolated case though, a few people on piratebay seem to have the same problem, and none of them offered a solution from what i can see.
