The sims 3 version 12.0.273 lagging

I recently updated my sims 3 game to version 12.0.273, and now my game is freezing every few seconds. I tried the cheat resetSim (it does nothing), and i can't install the gamebooster. Is there anything else i can do?

12.0.0273 isn't a version number, on the launcher hover over The Sims 3 icon in the lower left corner.

If it's lagging turn down your graphical settings!

And then you should be good to go.

But if you still lag then get the Manual Patch and the Ultimate Fix (Found in the PC Download help thingy)

Sorry about that. But mine says 1.42, not 1.38.

Sometimes a sim or several in the town get stuck and do that annoyed yelling thing because they can't walk anywhere. If enough sims do this your game will lag and freeze a lot. Did you only type "ResetSim"? If you did, try "ResetSim *" Putting an * resets all sims. If you have a lot of Custom Content that can also cause lag.

Ctrl + Shift + C and type in 'reset [FULL SIM NAME]'

Or if that doesn't work (I think I might of gotten the cheat wrong there) then go to the manual of one of the EP/SF or Base Game and go to the cheat section.

It will reset the sim you put the name of, but not his/her's stats.
