CC Magic and Created Content. [SOLVED]
Hello guys. I wanna ask some things users that use CC Magic.... I have most of the Store Items from the official MediaFire account and I am using CC Magic to install them (not world files).
So I wanna ask:
1. How to install lots? Like the Ice Lounge which recently was released, I used CC Magic to install it but I got the Ice Lounge furniture but not the venue.... How to install such .Sims3Packs?
2. Houses. I tend to download my houses from the internet and I don't wanna install them via the launcher. Is there a way to install them without using the launcher? (I read somewhere that if I turn the .Sims3Pack into .package and put it in Library it will work?)

Hello,
1. .Sims3Pack files can be installed by either just double-clicking them or (if you have a lot of .Sims3Pack files to be installed at once) copy them all to: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads and then open your game launcher and navigate to "Downloads". Click "Select all" and then "Install".
That way they'll all install at once.
2. Why would you not want to install them via the launcher?

Re: CC Magic and Created Content. [SOLVED]
I used to use the launcher for all my CC items from your MediaFire account, but it slows down the game dramatically! Now with CC Magic, there is no lag whatsoever. That's why I am currently using the launcher only to install lots (houses, community lots etc) and worlds, files that CC magic cannot handle.

Hello,
I have heard that too about putting those packages in the library. There's one way to find out ...

Re: CC Magic and Created Content. [SOLVED]
Well I tested it, I put a lot in my library in .package format and it shows in the launcher as installed content.

Re: CC Magic and Created Content. [SOLVED]
Oh yes it is. To sum it up:
I use CC Magic to install objects, hair, clothers.
I use .package in Library folder to install lots and houses.
I use Launcher to install Sims and Worlds and Patterns.
Kudos!
