Can't Install Seasons from Origin. [SOLVED]

Hi,

So I downloaded the base game and other expansions from Games4theworld, however I purchased Seasons from Amazon. I was not aware that I would have to download the game through origin. ( I also purchased pets a year ago, but it didnt make me download through origin) Anyway,, now when I try to install Seasons through Origin, it says that the Base Game needs to be installed first.

Idk if this helps, but when I try to update the game, it says it can connect to Origin. And yes I do have the updated Ultimate fix.

Your running on a Administrator account right?

Might have to apply the Step like 11 in the Ultimate Fix, prior to the manual patch step.

Other then that, I'm not sure.

There's no need to, as far as I know. Where did you get your base game from?

Also, the launcher usually only says "Can't connect to Origin", when Origin is not installed. Try (re-)installing it from www.origin.com/download .

I got the base game from here. However, I uninstalled everything and reinstalled the base game and used the manual patch and it works now. Thnx!
