Don't be shy, show a little skin!![SOLVED]
This won't stop me from playing the game, it's more of an annoyance but no matter what I do I can NOT remove the censor blur! I assumed that maybe my nomosaic mod was outdated so I found the updated version, deleted the old one, cleared all caches, installed the new and improved mod and ta-da...nothing. The blur is still there. My next thought was maybe another mod is interfering so I removed EVERYTHING from my mods folders, deleted caches (again, just in case), installed only the new nomosaic and it still isn't working. I have even used the No Effects modder tool and made my own no censor, applied it and it's not working either.
I am completely out of options to try. Does anyone else know of something I might be missing?

Hello,
No idea actually, but have you checked the creators' page/website for information? They may still be working on it.

Yes I checked and no one else seems to be having the issue of it just not working.

Re: Don't be shy, show a little skin!![SOLVED]
Thanks for the suggestion but I just tried it and it didn't work either.
Doing more research and reading into what might be causing the problem, the only thing I come up with is at one time I had the awesome mod but once the newest patch came out it no longer worked so I took it out of my mods folder (assuming that would get rid of it). Considering it's a core mod is there more I have to do to delete it? Could this be causing the conflict?

Hello,
Not sure, but you can test that theory by backing up and removing the entire The Sims 3 folder from Documents\Electronic Arts. The game will generate a new folder once you start the launcher, at which point you could put your saves and mods back to test it.

Re: Don't be shy, show a little skin!![SOLVED]
I guess my theory on the issue was wrong. I removed my entire Sims folder for the test and only put in one of the no censor mods -velocitygrass_nomosaic_1_42- (that was the only thing in the mods folder) and it still didn't work. I hate to be a quitter but I'm about to give up! I have never had something that should be so simple give me so much trouble.

It's really strange that just that type of mod stopped working in your game. Are all the rest of your mods working fine?

Re: Don't be shy, show a little skin!![SOLVED]
Well I have now tested three different censor mods and still nothing. I really don't understand what could be stopping it.
invalid- I got rid of the very few mods I had, because I thought they were the problem. Now I'm not playing with any... only cc like hair/clothes/makeup/furniture. I guess I should try a different one and see if it will work, just out of curiosity.
**EDIT**
I added and tested the nointro mod and it didn't work either.

I have the opposite problem, where many of my sims like to go to work in their uncensored birthday suit. The eco-friendly ones ride their bikes in the buff!

Hello,
I think your resourcefile might be out of date! This post has a download that always has the latest resourcefile. Please see if that makes a difference.

Lady ElDi, I am promoting you to Saint
I read through the link and followed all the steps, I am extremely happy to report that everything is working now! You were right about the resource files, I had way too many of them. I had to go into all the ep's and get rid of them, along with an extra d3dx9_31.ddl... which I never knew I was supposed to delete. Since my game has never really worked properly, I have all kinds of things working now that I never knew I had. It does load slower now for some reason but I am happy that it's at least working.
Thank you for all your help.
