mods dont show in original EA sims 3 game installed and played through origin

hello there,
I have all ea original disks installed through origin client, it all works fine and i want to put some mods to make my game more spicy, so I install framework set up and put mods folder inn C:/programmefiles/ origingames/sims3. It has the no intro file inside and this DOESN'T WORK SO I DIDN'T BOTHER INSTALLIN OTHER MODS, PLEASE HELP

Hi! Sorry, but you are doing it wrong, that's why...
You should put those files at "C:\Users\(your username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods" and not at the folder where your game is installed.
Also, the mods go here.
Please, let's know if you got it working.
