Abnormal Program Termination error

I've downloaded all of the other sims 3 expansions in the past without any error so I was disappointed when after I tried to run the installation for Seasons and got "abnormal program termination". I use winrar so I don't know why I keep getting this stupid error. Then when I tried to manually update my game to 1.42 I got the exact same error. I'm really confused and I don't know what's going on...

At first I already had it bought and installed. Then when I misplaced it I used the base game from here and then continued to install expansion and stuff packs from here up until Supernatural.

When I tried installing seasons, that's when my computer started treating all my Sims 3 related stuff funny. The game won't start neither can I uninstall the game through control panel.

I tried to reinstall everything after manually uninstalling everything but i got the same abnormal program termination error. So now I have to do another system restore...

Just use Your Uninstaller! Pro from www.games4theworld.org to force uninstall everything. Use the "Super" mode.
Don't forget to backup your savegames first!
