Sims 3 crashes everytime

Hi guys, I've got a problem. Since I installed Seasons, my Sims 3 game keeps crashing to my desktop at random moments. I can't even play 2 minutes without the game crashing. Also, before it crashes, it laggs extremely. Also, games take long to load. I'm 100% sure it isn't a problem of my computer because I played this game before with all my settings on high and it ran smoothly. Does anyone else have this problem or does someone know how to solve it, things that I already have done are:

- I reïnstalled Seasons (Exactly like it's done here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly)

- I've already deleted my whole Sims 3 folder in My Documents/Electronic Arts
- reïnstalled the newest patch

And some additional information:
- I also deïnstalled all my expansion packs yesterday except World Adventures, Ambitions, Pets and some stuff packs yesterday. Maybe it has something to do with that.
- I've installed the base game, world adventures, ambitions, high end loft stuff and outdoor living stuff from a disc I've got at home, but I also have applied the crack from the ultimate fix to these games. Maybe that's causing the problem?

Where exactly did you download your The Sims 3: Seasons from?

Just reïnstalled all the sims 3 games, added them again to DEP and did step 6 of your link. Gonna see if it works now.

Well, it worked! At least, it doesn't crash. But it still laggs pretty much and didn't lagg before seasons ;p

Did you try turning your graphics settings down to a lower setting to help with the lag?
